The Rotis-a-grate cooking system has vertical flames to cook from behind the meat not under it so there are no flare ups from the juices dripping into the flame. The Ducane Cast Aluminum 5000 Plus Series Gas Grill has the added bonus of a 10000 BTU-per-hour side burner, so you can cook even more things at once. The Ducane Cast Aluminum 5000 Plus Series Gas Grill also features briquettes and the La-Va-Grate system with overlapping runners to hold and vaporize drippings. The rotary ignition system features Vis-U-Glo observation ports. The Ducane Cast Aluminum 5000 Plus Series Gas Grill has the total cooking space is 545 square inches with 410 square inches of primary and 135 square inches of secondary cooking space in the stainless steel Sear Grid cooking grates. There is 1 side shelf with polyethylene insert and a cast aluminum lid with side-mounted hood handles.
